Grain Bins Sansoni :: Building details:

• Grain Bins:
they are built with galvanized steel plates, and their structure is capable of supporting loading and unloading stress and winds in accordance with IRAM standard No. 8015. They are designed and equipped for storing different types of grains and seeds.

• The different models have
a wide range of storing capacity:
flat bottom, and concrete conical bottom silos. We also offer smaller models in the form of elevated conical bottom silos. Our models stand out because they are adequate for storing seeds with more inclined cones, external stands and cascading loading systems for reducing grain damage caused by movement to a minimum.

FEATURES
• Roof: 30º inclination with widely ribbed galvanized steel plates for assuring resistance and watertight integrity. Airing according to the size of airing equipment inlets and outlets.

Its support structure is composed of connecting rods and beams made of galvanized C-shaped steel plates. The inspection and entrance door is located under the stairs for accessing the roof vertex. The stairs have a protection railing.

 

• Cylinder: it is made of ribbed galvanized steel plates, with horizontal and vertical riveted seams.

Cylinders have section and Omega-type folding stands along their entire height depending on the unloading requirements of the silo.

 

• Riveting and Watertight Integrity: The entire riveting is galvanized with cup grommets attached to the screws, which are specific for placing neoprene grommets for assuring the tightness of vertical joints where thermo-elastic mastic strips are placed.

Iron or 5- or 8-degree steel rivets are used in accordance with stress diagrams. The accessories include vertical ladders with protection against falls, and reinforced lateral access door in the cylinder.

• Optional feature: lateral gravity discharge system. This system unloads grains through special channels and openings with slide valves located on a side of the silo for loading trucks or freight cars.
